Cowbell came about a year ago when Ms. Dehner was reading about the cows coming to KC in the Kansas City Star. She heard about the other shows in other cities and always thought that painting a cow would be such a unique experience. She had done an illustration about 8 months before that entitled Cowbell which was a visual pun. ??I thought to myself how perfect would that be translated onto a cow? So a year later . . . here she is.?÷
